Additionally then, brothers and sisters, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received instruction from us on how you should live and please God – as you are doing – do this even more.1 Thessalonians 4:1
Blueprint Church’s current Sunday morning series is called “The Good Church”. This series focuses on 1 and 2 Thessalonians. We are about two months into this series and this verse has been a defining verse for me. As believers, whether we are walking close to God or feel we are in a slump, we all need reminders to continue in our faith.
As we read through and study the book of Thessalonians, I keep thinking about our church plant here in NWA and two big parallels.
First, the Thessalonian church was young, Blueprint Church is a young church both in the age of our members and the church itself. Second, the Thessalonians were an encouragement to Paul for many reasons including that they were following his instruction on “how you should live and please God.” I am encouraged by the members of Blueprint as they do the same. As young believers in a new city, I have witnessed each person seek God and remind each other to do the same.
We’d love to have you join us for church on Sunday mornings and during the week. You will see for yourself that Blueprint is full of men and women that live to please God and seek to do it all the more.
We sent out an email to our Coffee Cup Initiative participants with specific updates. If you’d like to receive those updates please partner with us.
